For the 1st of Makevember:

A simple origami led light.
You will need:
1x piece of A5 paper (You could size up or down)
A length of conductive tape (https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/woven-conductive-tape?variant=31590659194963)
1x CR2032 battery
1x LED light, either a normal 5mm LED or a stick on LED (https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/circuit-stickers-led-megapack-30-stickers?variant=14244033415)
Now the basis of this is the method for folding crisp packets into triangles, a list of instructions can be fond here: https://www.instructables.com/Crisp-packet-folding/
Follow the instructions to fold the piece of paper.

Then make a marker for the LED on one of the outside faces

Open up the compartment thats made by tucking the last triangle in, and make a + and – marking for the surfaces where the battery will touch when it is enclosed into the compartment

Flatten out the piece of paper

Place an LED on the marker, with the legs flattened (and cut shorter if required), point the anode towards the + battery marker, and cathode towards the – battery marker
Then place conductive tape over the legs, to stick them to the paper, and continue to the battery markers on the paper.

Refold, slipping the battery in before sealing the triangle.

You it’s complete, a little LED throwie with the battery safely enclosed in the pocket. You can open it back up to turn off if required.
